Tac 56

Engine 51 is a 1990 GMC Pierce Midi-pump that seats 4 firefighters. Engine 51 has a 450 gpm pump, a 350 gallon water tank, and 1100' of 5 inch supply line. The various attack lines on the engine include 2 200' 1 ¾" lines, a 300' 2" line, and a 200' 2 ½" line. Engine 51 carries a Bullard Thermal Imaging Camera, full EMS equipment, an AED, high pressure air bags, cribbing, fans, a Hurst Omni Combination tool, and a Glas Master. Also on the engine are forcible entry tools, a multi-gas meter, a heat gun, a 16' extension ladder, and an 8' attic ladder.

 
ENGINE 56

Engine 52 is a 1995 Pierce pumper that seats 6 firefighters. Engine 52 has a 1500 gpm pump, a 750 gallon water tank, 2400' of 5 inch supply line, and 200' of 3" supply line. The various attack lines on the engine include 2 200' 2" lines and a 200' 2 ½" line. Also on the engine are 2 portable deck guns. Engine 52 also has an 8 KW generator and 2 750 KW truck-mounted quartz lights. Carried on the engine are an AED, full EMS O2 medical bags, a heat gun, a CO gas detector, full structural fire fighting equipment, and a K-700 saw with Warthog blade.

 
SQUAD 56

Engine 53 is a 2001 E-One Pumper Rescue that seats 6 firefighters. Engine 53 has a 1500 gpm pump, a 750 gallon water tank, 1800' of 5 inch supply line, and 600' of 3" supply line. The various attack lines on the engine include 2 200' 1 ¾" lines, and 200' of 2 ½" line. Also on the engine is a Blitz Fire portable deck gun. Engine 53 also carries a Bullard thermal imaging camera, a multi-gas detector, a CO meter, a K-700 Partner saw with metal blade, an Echo Quikie Vent saw, 2 Glas Masters, 2 Sawzalls, a full compliment of forcible entry tools, full structural fire fighting equipment, full EMS O2 equipment, and an AED. Engine 53's Hurst tools include a Maverick combination tool mounted on the front bumper, a 32" spreader, X-tool combination, 2 rams, and a portable Hurst motor. Three of these Hurst tools are pre-connected.

 
NEW RESCUE 56

Rescue 5 is a 2006 Emergency-One Cyclone II 445 HP Heavy Rescue Truck with an 18 foot non-walk-in box. The unit features a climate controlled 8 man cab, 7 pre-connected Hurst tools including 2 pre-connected tools in the front bumper, a Night-scan 4500 Watt Light Tower, a 35 kW PTO Generator, a 15 kW Westerbeke Generator, and 12 750 Watt Quartz lights around the perimeter. Rescue 5 also carries a full complement of structural firefighting, water rescue, structural collapse, Rapid Intervention Team and vehicle extrication equipment, including over 400 feet of heavy timber and cribbing. This unit replaces a 1986 Pierce Dash Heavy Rescue Truck that served Haverford Township for 20 years.

 
CHIEF'S CAR

The Chief's car is a 2003 4x4 Ford Expedition. It carries 2 SCBA's, 2 complete sets of turnout gear, a full compliment of forcible entry tools, a CO gas detector, an AED, a medical bag, fire extinguishers, and incident command vests. The vehicle can also carry 5 firefighters.

 
AMBULANCE 56-7

Ambulance 56-7 is a 2005 Ford Horton Ambulance that carries a full complement of BLS equipment, as well as Water Rescue gear, Forcible Entry tools, 2 complete SCBA'a, and an AED .

Ambulance 56-7A is a 2003 Ford Horton Ambulance that carries a full complement of BLS equipment, as well as Water Rescue gear, Forcible Entry tools, 2 complete SCBA's, and an AED .
