Engine 56 is a 1995 Pierce capable of seating 8 firefighters. Engine 56 runs first out of Manoa to half of the Townships building fire responses, bringing with it 2400ft of 5in supply line and 200ft of 3 in supply line. The Engine also has a 1500 gpm pump and a 780 gallon water tank, which easily supplies the multitude of attack lines available to the crew of this truck. Like all of the 56 apparatus, Engine 56 carries a full list of structural firefighting equipment such as hand tools, fire extinguishers, smoke ejectors, and ground ladders. Engine 56 also has an 6 kW onboard generator used to power multiple Quartz Lights on the truck. Also on board is an AED and full QRS list of EMS equipment. Engine 56 currently is used for a RIT apparatus carrying a stokes basket, FAST Board, Scott RIT Airpack and Anderson Rescue Solutions rope rescue bags.
