At 1334hours Engine 5 Engine 2 Ladder 3 Rescue 5 Medic 108 and Ambulance 56-7 were dispatched to the 1500 block of Robinson Ave. for a possible house fire. Manoa 5 arrived on location and reported all occupants out of the residence with heavy fire showing from the 2nd floor front bedroom. Manoa 5 established Manoa Command and ordered the crew from Engine 51 to pull an 1 inch attack line and for Engine 21 to lay a 5 inch supply line from the hydrant to Engine 51. Crew from Engine 51 advanced the attack line up the stairs and encountered heavy fire and smoke conditions in the hallway. Ladder 3 was ordered by Manoa Command to ladder the building and open up the roof. Crew from 51 knocked the bulk of the fire down and checked for extension. Manoa Command also called for Rescue 4 for the air bank to fill the empty air bottles. Units from Company 5 remained on scene to assist the Haverford Township Fire Marshall FM-1 Haverford Township Police Department and the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshall and returned to service at 1955hours.
